Forge Expeditions – Outdoor Education
Our Mission
Forge International School engages students within an inclusive international learning community, challenging all members to take risks and contribute locally and globally through open-minded inquiry.
What We Do
Forge Expeditions’ sole purpose is getting kids outside! We take Forge students from 4th grade and up on outdoor adventures, expanding access and opportunities for our students to recreate in the outdoors. Our goal is to create equitable experiences for children of all skill levels and experiences to be introduced to new ways of enjoying nature. Forge Expeditions takes students on a wide variety of adventures: hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding, snowshoeing, sand dune sledding and so much more! We work hard to provide scholarship money and gear for students who would not otherwise have the agency or opportunity to enjoy some far-out places! We teach stewardship to the outdoors, basic skills and techniques, and link our trips to in-school learning to grow our knowledge on the place we live and outdoor recreation!
